We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of McNaughton DOG Training Area yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McNaughton DOG Training Area
“Great place to walk and train your dogs and also just to go for a walk yourself back in the opening where the creek is.”
Great area to bring your dogs to be off leash. Little trails through the woods along the river and two wide open spaces.
Great place to take your dog if they like trail running/hiking on leash. Two big off leash fields great for training recall and just letting them run and be dogs. Some trails are shared with horses so be prepared to encounter their droppings. Definitely wear shoes you don’t care about getting dirty.
Great place to walk and train your dogs and also just to go for a walk yourself back in the opening where the creek is.
