Confirmed from McPhetres Farm Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Not much of an elevation change so this is suitable for all ages and physical abilities.”

Awesome little hike that is essentially in city limits (right across the line in Veazie). Not much of an elevation change so this is suitable for all ages and physical abilities. There are some trees in the forest that have to be at least 200 years old. A hidden gem!

★★★★★ — Viktor , Dec 2020

Super cute trail and easy hike with good steep parts. Trailhead is hidden but very quiet, serene and overall empty trail!

★★★★★ — Mikayla , Jun 2021

Great for a short walk/hike. Trails are well marked and maintained. Parking area is in the back of the cemetary.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
