Confirmed from City of Des Moines Park Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic waterfront location featuring a marina, trails, a beach and a pier, plus picnic tables for a relaxed visit.
What runners say about City of Des Moines Park Conservation Area
“So beautiful 😍 Will always bee one of my favorite spots outside of Seattle.”
I'm a local so I have a biased opinion. I just love going here. It feels like worlds away when I'm just looking out at the water. Typically it's not too crowded. And I can just pull up a folding chair and enjoy the scenery.
Love this place. Waterfront, trails to walk, and a river walk. So beautiful 😍 Will always bee one of my favorite spots outside of Seattle.
Great park to picnic and watch live band. There are birds, picturesque views and lots of walking areas.
Best beach around! A cute little trail, and if you want to find shells there are literally thousands upon thousands of them at this beach! Everywhere you step, not kidding! The sea life/Tide pool life was so cool too! The view is amazing and it was just plain fun!
