Confirmed from Meadow Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Meadow Oaks Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (101 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“This park is clean, shady, and has two play areas for different ages, as well as a covered pavilion.”

🌳 shaded & cool 7 mentions

“A very nice park for little ones or to walk your dog, the play areas are shaded and there is a soft rubber mix to protect knees and elbows around the play areas.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“It is plag friendly for all ages and even has a nice view of a little creek thing and has a walking trail.”

Our three-year-old grandson loves this park, and asks for it by name. Swings, slides, climbing walls, tunnels, a stream, a picnic table under a gazebo, lawn to run around on, and (a fabulous new addition which has become one of his favorites) the mini free library.

★★★★★ — Rosalinda , Nov 2019

Beautiful atmosphere, well maintained landscaping. Lots of open space and a gazebo with benches for family events. Playground is covered and up to date but run-off has left some mulch areas muddy. Biggest downside is the near complete lack of parking. It's only curbside parking for 7-8 vehicles.

My kid loves this park! I love that it has two separate playgrounds. One for smaller children and the other for a little bigger. It is plag friendly for all ages and even has a nice view of a little creek thing and has a walking trail. I like this park

★★★★★ — Jaclyn , Jan 2020

Nice neighborhood park with plenty of benches and seating close by for parents to watch their children. All equipment is in great shape. Smaller for toddlers and plenty of open fields to run and play. Covered pavilion on location with picnic tables.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
