Confirmed from Meditation Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Meditation Trail
Trail in shape of a figure 8. First loop a bit of a thicket overgrowth and connects at a stream crossing with a bench. Second loop goes around a pond with a bench overlook, and has some interesting details like remnants of an old A frame cabin. Two entrances at back of church.
Surprisingly good nature trail tucked in amongst the neighborhoods. Careful crossing the creek, requires stepping on rocks that can be slippery. Thank you to whoever maintains it (Episcopal Church?)
I really love this trail. I drive past it almost every day, so it is super convenient. My dog and I walk it 2 or 3 times a week. I don't agree with other comments that it isn't maintained. Sometimes a tree falls or bushes grow, but they clean it up after a few days or a couple weeks.
