Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a skatepark, baseball diamonds and picnic tables, plus a dog park and a pond.
What runners say about Memorial Park
“There are beautiful hiking paths along with plenty of space for walking and biking.”
“Plenty of shade The walk from the parking lot to the park though, had the potential to be too hot for their paws, but that will be anywhere in Texas!”
What a city park should be ! Trails, lakes, BBQ pits, basketball, bathrooms and dog park fenced off by size. Amazing as special as the local beach
They have two separate large fenced areas for your pups to roam and play leash free. There were water stations for the dogs, a water hose and a baby pool for them to play in as well! Two locked gates stood between the fenced area and the normal park to reduce any accidents!
Public batting cages, disc golf, trails and more. Big park with places to picnic and BBQ
Great park! There are numerous picnic tables and charcoal grills scattered under old live oak trees. Plenty of swing sets and climbing structures for the kids. The baseball fields are well maintained and the grandstands are all new and modern. Toilet facilities are new. Parking is plentiful.
