Confirmed from Tule Creek Hike And Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“If you’re looking for an easy, family-friendly walk, the Tule Hike and Bike Trail is such a good find.”

My husband and I were on vacation in Rockport, we were visiting from Austin. The very nice lady at the Tourist Information Center suggested if we enjoyed walking, then this would be a good choice to go check out. She was so right! It is absolutely beautiful!! Visitors can either walk or ride a bike.

Small quiet place to have a nice walk or to get engaged!! Be kind of cool to have outside wedding there too...

★★★★★ — Joseph , Feb 2025

1.08 miles of uninterrupted concrete bike/hike trail with a center line. Used by mostly walkers, but almost everyone stays to the right of the center line making this path safe for walkers, runners and bikers. Midway down the path, there is a port-a-potty and a water fountain near the community pool.

Loved this trail, perfect for biking/walking/running just wish it was longer. The trail is about 1 mile, so beautiful you are left wanting more. Beautiful spot to go read a book, we also saw a gentleman fishing and so close to shops you can pick up a drink and enjoy here with the view. Really nice park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
