Confirmed from Merry Hill Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Very peaceful and serene.”
August 20, 2022: There was very little detailed information readily available online about this trail, so I decided to go walk it and find out what was there for myself. It was both short and compact, extremely well maintained, very easy, and still managed to offer somewhat varied terrain.
Pretty little nature trail with lots of diversity. I came across a mama whitetail deer with twin fawns. This is an excellent trail for families. Especially families with younger kids who can walk by themselves. Lots of green tunnels in spring, summer, and early fall.
Very well marked trail with a loop and several spurs available to hike. Good incline on the loop, not too challenging but steep in a few places. Very peaceful and serene.
Lovely trail all year round! Be aware of the bears in this season though. We saw them two weeks in a row now.

“Overall, it’d be a fine choice for introducing a newbie or a child to hiking without ever being too far from the trailhead or encountering challenges.”
