We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Merwin Meadows Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring a lake, several playgrounds and trails.
What runners say about Merwin Meadows Park
“My other review covers it in depth but it's just a nice family friendly, relaxing little park.”
Walked on the Norwalk River Valley Trail that goes through Merwin Meadows Park. I had a nice walk here once views of the river Valley 😁
Relaxing walk through shaded area. A man-made beach is nearby for kids. Shopping and dining closeby as well.
Cool park for kids, also has a couple trails along the river. So you can take a stroll in the nature. Also you can walk from there to the Wilton center and grab a bite or a coffee.
They have everything here! They have a nice dirt trail as well as a paved one. They have a small waterfall and two rivers. They have a playground and a small lake beach. They even connected the trail to the Wilton train station for easy access to the park if you take the train to Wilton. It is a very amazing park!
