Confirmed from Miantonomi Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“To the Powers of Control, please contact your local service organizations and see if perhaps clean up bees could help out to pick up the garbage.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“It's a beautiful park well known to the community and it couldn't be in a more perfect part of town.”

My family and I have been coming here for over 25yrs! We've had many celebrations here, birthday parties, endless cookouts, baby showers and much more! It's a beautiful park well known to the community and it couldn't be in a more perfect part of town. Right in the middle!

It's a wonderful place to walk and can even be quite a challenge for those with mobility issues or the elderly. There's easily accessible areas for all, but the hill itself is a moderate climb. There's plenty of picnic tables and even some grills.

Loved this park and wish we had found it earlier in our trip as we had a better time here than a few others. It is dog friendly, has open grounds and a swingset for kids, but behind this are multiple trails through the woods up to the monument. There are some steep hills but very doable.

Huge park , wasn’t able to get in tower however I will be back to walk in& up and take in those views from up at the top! However you can clearly see the Bristol Pell Bridge from this park .. the views are great!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 8 mentions

“The tower path is hidden but once you are able to find it you will be able to appreciate the amazing view from the top of the tower.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
