Confirmed from Milford Wampold Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a beautiful way to complete a cardio workout! The LSU Lakes this time of year never disappoints. I love the high-traffic walk. If you walk around both lakes, you will complete a workout close to five miles. 💪🏾🏃🏾‍♀️

Timings:6 AM to 8 PM. Bathroom facilities are available for free. Parking facilities are available for free. This park is nearly 4 miles and it’s suitable for jogger’s,runners ,cyclists and walkers. Here you will see people walking with their pet animals and fishing. Plenty of open space to play with pet animals .

I enjoy my walks around the lake in the mornings. I would love to see some of the areas repaved, especially on the side closest to Dalrymple. Most of the people I encounter are courteous and alert you before passing you. The birds are definitely my favorite thing to see on my route.

Beautiful park and lake - love cycling around the trail ! The sunsets are awesome - some seasonal berries, some tortoises and some birds !

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
