Confirmed from Mills Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor space featuring picnic tables, trails for hiking and sledding and off-leash areas for dogs.
What runners say about Mills Riverside Park
“Beautiful scenery with spectacular views of the mountains and the river.”
“Beautiful views, relaxing trails, and dog-friendly.”
Great park with good hiking trails that are clearly marked. Picnic tables and pavilion areas for gatherings.
Great place to walk your dogs, play sports. Picnic and yes Fish. Caught this nice Large Mouth Bass in the pond. Remember Fishing buddies , Catch them and release them so you can " Hook up with them again!" Capt.Mal
Love the farmers market. Awesome park. I love dogs. FYI the covered bridge is gone but the trails are great. 😊
Great local park with long riverfront area, big off leash section for dogs, slow tubing-like shallow river, 4.2 miles of total trails, pond, big covered shelter. Was a great option for a flatter place to hike. Many locals there. Easy parking.
Trail conditions & character
“Love, bringing the dog here to the off leash area so she can run around and say hi to the other dogs in a more enjoyable way.”
“Beautiful scenery with spectacular views of the mountains and the river.”
“Parking gets tight sometimes if there is an event happening but it’s well worth coming here for lots of different outdoor activities you might want to partake in.”
Plan your run at Mills Riverside Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
