Confirmed from Mineral Palace Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Mineral Palace Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (2,575 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The park looks clean, & the tree that was planted in my dads honor in 2012 is budding out now, it has survived another winter 🥳🥰🥳🥰🥳”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“This was a beautiful place to stop and have lunch.”

Beautiful park with big trees. Enjoy walking around. Lots of squirrels. Here are some spring pictures showing the beauty of the park. Great playground for the kids. The swimming pool is a nice one. Fun park for the whole family.

Nice place to go and walk, jog, see a free art museum, and play! I wouldn't recommend staying past sunset, but, all and all, a nice place to go.

★★★★☆ — Samantha , Aug 2024

Perfect place to be for a morning walk, bike ride, birthday parties, picnics, and hanging out with the squirrels and geese. This is another Pueblo park I've been going to since I was very young. Even though this park is located right next to I-25, its location doesn't take away from the charm.

A really nice park in town. Visited for the farmers market. Well maintained. City pool... tennis courts... ponds, trails... worth exploring. It's nicely shaded too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 7 mentions

“Some structures still stand from that era including the bridge overlooking the pond, Amputherater and original bath house which contains fabulous art exhibits from local artists.”
