Confirmed from Minnequa Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Minnequa Lake Park
“Walk out here all the time, trails are well kept and people are friendly.”
They really did an outstanding job planning and building this park! It's easily accessible from I-25, has a beautiful path around the little lake, a playground at one end and lovely places to sit and enjoy the view. Great place to watch the sunset! Mosquitos can get bad when it's warm. Take precautions!
Exercise and plenty of room at the side parks. There's basketball park on the far south north of liquor store. Lake minnequa is good for a walk around.
Parks with great trails wonderful for walking your dog .. LOL don't forget the bug spray cuz the horse flies are bad. Very enjoyable experience.
Awesome spot! Not to crowded, clean water, great walk, good path! Kids park its got it all!
