Confirmed from Mineral Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly green space featuring a playground and an off-leash dog area, as well as fishing and paddling.
What runners say about Mineral Springs Park
“The wonderful atmosphere, well-maintained trails, breathtaking views, and the presence of geese and a lake make it even more appealing.”
“Awesome park with beautiful water feature and sidewalk to walk around the man made lake.”
“It was very relaxing and peaceful plus clean.”
Overall s really great scenic park. There's something for everyone there. You can jog or leisurely walk the lagoon, fish, take your kids to the playground, have a picnic, or hold an event in the building there. I often take family photos and portraits there and just love it.
I've enjoyed coming to this park ever since I was a little girl. The flowers are so pretty and sitting at the Lagoon is so relaxing! There is a walking trail around the Lagoon and also fishing on site. They have paddle boats and canoes that people can rent out for a certain time limit.
This is a great park with lots to do for bigger kids and smaller kids. It has two seperate playgrounds one aimed for younger children and one for bigger kids. It has bathrooms available and a water fountain. It also sits next to Pekin Lagoon which is really nice for a walk or taking the paddle boats out.
This park has a lot of walking paths, lots of tables for relaxing, a baseball stadium. It's a great playground for kids; my kids really enjoy playing there. There is a gorgeous lake in the middle of the park, and there are Canada geese. There is a public restroom.
