Confirmed from MKE REC Hawthorn Glen Outdoor Education Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet urban nature reserve with a playground and a nature center plus educational exhibits.

One of the hikes on mine and my 3 kids summer hiking list. Had some pretty cool animals, very peaceful on the trails surrounded my huge trees. We loved the educational plaques along the trails too!
This is a nice park set off from the main road with nature trails, a learning center, a playground, and soccer pitch. It seems like a good place to bring kids, but dogs are not allowed.
Really nice park in a unique setting. Great playground and small but nice trails. Very peaceful for being in the city.
This park is close to our house, it has outdoor recreation space and a playground as well as a nice walking trail. It feels like a little getaway in the middle of the city.
