We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Oak Leaf Trail - Menomonee Line yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful, absolutely stunning. It’s always nice to take a quiet, peaceful and fun walk with the kiddos and see deer and bunnies. The nature is just such a tranquil experience and will leave you wanting to stay there all day.

The Menomonee Line of the Oak Leaf Trail is a gem! Beautiful, clean, paved paths make it perfect for walking, running, or cycling. Surrounded by water, trees, and lush plants, it’s a peaceful escape into nature right in the city. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors.

The walking bridge south of the Wauwatosa Senior Center is rustic. It shows the 1930's CCC construction to block the Menomonie River from flooding into the community. It will take you back to what it would be like to build a cabin on a river.

Great trail for biking and morning/evening walk. This trail looks wonderful during fall season, lots of color.

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
