Confirmed from Molalla River State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice and short trail. The main trail is partly sunny and partly shaded, trail fits for strollers and bikes. There is a big field for dogs and a restroom. Bring a picnic basket and your family, there are so many places to sit and enjoy. There is plenty of parking space. There is a boat ramp and some nice beaches.

A What a hidden gem. It’s such a beautiful park. Highly recommend! I bet during sunshine it’s even better. A river is flowing next to it and I think you can make a walk around it. Many benches and tables are around. Cool spot.

Nice park for walking or exercising your dog. Went there over Labor Day and still wasn't very crowded. During the week you might not see more than two or three other people. Has your basic park amenities; picnic tables, barbecues public restrooms. Open 6AM to 9PM daily.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
