Confirmed from Knights Bridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular waterside park offering swimming, wading and floating in the river.
What runners say about Knights Bridge Park
We love taking our kids here to throw rocks and float the river. It can get crowded during the weekends but not as much as George Rogers. Another perk is that it's usually always shaded!
This is a nice little place right off the side of the main road. It doesn't look like too much until you get down there and start walking the trails. It's beautiful, it's right on a little Creek. Only bad thing is you have to have parking permit which you can do from your phone.
Trail conditions & character
“I love this little swimming hole we found❤️🔥 make sure you pay for parking and steer clear of fisherman of you are swimming”
“There is a portable bathroom and a dumpster, but the place could use some more amenities likes tables and such.”
“It’s rocky so sitting on a picnic blanket is a little bumpy.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
