Confirmed from Eco Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring wooded trails and a disc golf course winding through the trees and along an asphalt path.
What runners say about Eco Park
We enjoy walking here. There are trails through the woods as well as an asphalt trail for biking and walking. We walk more in the wooded area when it's hot and stick to the pavement on the rainy days. There is also a Frisbee golf course in part of the wooded area.
Easy to get to, right off Territorial. Good sized parking lot. Both a paved trail and a natural trail to walk on. Doggie bags and waste cans available. Nice woods to walk thru. Trail ends at the Willamette River so nice view.
Nice little loop through the trees. Can get muddy durning the fall and winter and sometimes, like any park, someone doesn’t pick up their dog’s poop on the trail. Otherwise I really enjoy the small park.
Great little loop in town through a patch of woods, about a 10 min walk, no major ups and downs, I think most of it was wood chipped, I dont remember muddy spots. Beware of stinging nettle.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
