Confirmed from Monrovia Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park on 80 acres with trails, camping & a waterfall, plus a nature center & cabin for events.

Just read in the Monrovia Living magazine that the Park is on track to reopen December! They've added some new things to the park as well along with repairs and trail maintenance from the Bobcat fire years ago. This is an easy trail to hike and there's also a neat waterfall at the end. I forget if it was about .

Recommend to buy an annual pass. Few trails and I enjoy the ones leading to the small waterfall. More trees 🌲 growing out since Covid. A little hard to find parking in weekends so be there early morning or afternoon. Will run into bear 🐻, and don’t run! They rather not to bother you.
This is my favorite place to hike. I been. Waiting for it to open up again after their restoration. Today I finally went. Definitely much water in the river and waterfall . I love to come here weekly . Its peaceful here and shady , a plus since i dont need to worry about sunburn and rattle snake .
