Confirmed from Monteith Riverpark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic tables, and carousel, plus a stage where concerts and movies are held.
What runners say about Monteith Riverpark
“The playground has something for each of my kids, the splash pad was a big hit before the weather turned for the season, and the bathrooms are always clean.”
“since I don't have any photos of the current park I'm just gonna say it's beautiful, they added stairs and a better stage and relocated the park to be away from the train tracks.”
Monteith Park is a great family park. It's huge with numerous trails that start from the park and run along the Willamette river. The newly added carousel is adjacent to the park and is a great spot for you and the kids to come and play!
since I don't have any photos of the current park I'm just gonna say it's beautiful, they added stairs and a better stage and relocated the park to be away from the train tracks. The trail part is still gated but if you know the back way then it's all fun and they do have another entrance from the park to the water.
Very clean, well maintained! Rocks are slippery so use caution when wet. Lots of fun activities for kids of all ages. Seasonal bathrooms, well cleaned. Gazebo and lots of trees for shade.
I really like the new playground and during the summer the splash pad. My only issue is the placement of the swings. They are close to the hill that kids run down and in the pathway if kids are running around. Twice i saw kids get nailed by someone in the swing because they weren't watching or for them.
