We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Moorewoods yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Moorewoods
“It's a magical place, amazing views & quiet amid the noise of daily life.”
Moore Woods is a great spot to walk the dog or meet friends for a walk. Such a beautiful area and there are several adorable bird houses.
We take the dog here a lot. Easy walking, nice views, nearby... Haunted though! Be careful pulling into the lot. Often times there is a large pothole to avoid.
One of my favorite places to walk and unwind. It's a little hidden gem in the middle of town. A great place to wander any time of year!
I came here with my children & grandchildren. It's a magical place, amazing views & quiet amid the noise of daily life. It's a wonderful place for a quiet picnic! The kids love the open space to run & play. They found surprises along the trail. Tiny fairy houses tucked in here & there. It was quite charming.
