Confirmed from Morrissey Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park with a kids' playground, tennis courts, open fields & a curved walking path.
What runners say about Morrissey Park
“Beautiful park has a playground for the children.”
Good place to run in the morning. The loop around the park (including the stretch on Windsor) is about 1km.
Morrissey Park* Morrissey Park, from dawn to dusk, with a multi-use path enjoyed by all, rewards its visitors in various ways. If you ride through here, please take it slow, not just for safety’s sake, but to afford yourself time for friendly exchange with others so charmed by peace arisen from design and usage.
What a beautiful, large park! It had a great running/walking/biking path around it. Huge soccer field and playground are awesome. If you want space to fly kites, BBQ, run, bike, play tag, football, baseball, soccer or any other outside fun, you can do it here. The amenities of the tennis courts are usually available!
A pleasant grassy city park where we do tai chi. Plenty of space for our group that's sometimes as large as 20 people. Also has tennis courts and a walking path.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
