It’s one of my favorite places in Charleston. I walk here almost daily, and each step fills me to the fullest. Hearing kids playing and laughing, seeing happy families waddling, couples walking hand in hand, and dogs brimming with joy always fills my soul.
Wonderful walk under the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge. We saw a dolphin and lots of crabs and birds. The gift shop has lots of nice things. Restrooms are available. Plenty of parking. Plenty of places to sit and take in the scenery.
Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park - A Serene Escape with Stunning Views Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park is a true gem that offers a breathtaking view of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, which connects Mount Pleasant to Charleston, South Carolina.
Plenty of free parking right across the visitor center. This park is free and well maintained. We visited on a week day and there were only a handful of other people walking around in the park. It’s very nice and the view of the bridge was beautiful. Be mindful of the noise of the traffic from atop the bridge though.
