Confirmed from Murph Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Informal bayfront park offering fishing, picnics and sunset views.
What runners say about Murph Park
“Beautiful little park on the shore of the bay.”
Beach walk was great, but caution must be taken to walk along the shoreline because of the oyster shells-wear shoes! Be watchful for alligators even though we didn’t see any on our adventure.
Great little off the path park that we like to visit and fish, or relax by the water. Its not fancy, there are picnic tables but otherwise you need to bring your own chairs to sit near the water. Great for wade fishing!
Trail conditions & character
“Small out of the way picnic spot with a nice view of Copano Bay.”
“The was a portable toilet but nowhere to wash your hands or clean fish.”
