Confirmed from Myrtle Beach State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Clean beach and great acess points compared to North Myrtle, No fee to be on the Pier but there is a fee for the park since.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“The pier is especially enjoyable, offering educational and engaging signage that make it more than just a scenic spot.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“The atmosphere is peaceful, the beach is beautiful, and there is plenty of space to relax or have fun.”

Loved this state park! We hiked the paths and enjoyed the beach. The fishing pier is also fun. We even saw a hawk! Watch out for the sand spurs which will get into the soles of your shoes. You can spend an hour here or a day. It’s up to you!

We stayed in Cabin #4 at Myrtle Beach State Park, and I was genuinely surprised in the best way. I expected to be “roughing it,” but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. Everything in the cabin was clean and the beds had crisp white linens and were very comfortable.

$20 to get in the gate was a little extreme especially the amount of people that come through there. It was beautiful! We had a picnic where the campsites where and allowed the dogs to run with lead, and then we walked across the street stepping into the beautiful sand beach! We'll kept!

Very nice place nestled in the woods along the beach. Large campground narrow roads but able to maneuver a 45' class A thru and park. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. Small trail in the woods with a nature section.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
