Confirmed from Swing Bridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground, picnic tables, and boardwalks over the water, plus fishing.
What runners say about Swing Bridge Park
“You're right along the Waterway, there are public restrooms(not port-o-jons like most other parks), the grounds are well maintained, and they kept most of the trees!”
“Beautiful park with lots of shady spots because of the abundance of trees.”
“I took a walk through the shaded park area and sat on the dock to take in the sun and fresh air while I watched people fish and see boats meander across the water.”
Nice park along river with small playground. Short boardwalks with benches allow for great waterfront viewing. Good place for picnic lunch. Pet friendly although not really any trails to walk. Not going to get much exercise here unless you walk in circles. Ground is uneven.
Nice park area with lots of walking area. The boarded walkways over the wayer have nice benches to sit & lots of fishing activity. The playground itself is also nice..more geared towards the older kids. My 15mo is still a little small, but nonetheless she still had a blast!
It was cool. Decent play area for the kinds. Clean bathrooms. Its small. No hiking trails. They did recently add a second playground which is more physically challenging. The families were nice.
We were in between hotels and had some leftovers from the night before, so we decide to stop and have a picnic lunch here. The GPS told us we were there when we were on the bridge above. However, we figured out that it must be under the bridge. So it may be a little difficult to find if you put the address in the GPS.
