Confirmed from Newcomb Park Wasilla Lake's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public area for swimming and kayaking on a river or lake, with swings, slides and a playground.

Well maintained. Beautiful views. Plenty of room to just walk around, sit and have a private picnic, or even host a large birthday party under the gazebo. BBQ pits are located in main areas and in random spots away from the action. Life vests on site and nice playground. Plenty of parking.
This park on Wasilla lake has easy access to put a kayak in the water! There's also a lot of waterfowl loons, ducks and grebes! We watched several grebe fledglings trying to run and fly out of the water. Wished I had gotten a closer picture.
Great little playground conveniently located in town. Lots of interesting things for little ones to rotate through, seating along sides for the adults, and gorgeous view to boot. Playground has easy access off main road and quick walk right next to lake.

“It is very crowded when it is nice out however, and it can be difficult to access as you can only turn into the parking lot if you're heading east making it a little annoying.”
