Confirmed from Iditapark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area featuring a basketball court, bike track, jungle gym, skateboard park, trail and sledding hill.
What runners say about Iditapark
“The grounds are clean, equipment well kept, and it has a little bit of everything to keep my crew (age 1-14) entertained”
This is right near our house so we love the location. They host fireworks, music in the park, local markets, and more. It's nice to see it get more use than just a park. The playground is large and fenced in which is really nice for multiple kids.
What a great park! I've been taking the kids here since they could walk, Mikey is 5 now. It is starting to show it age. I hade to call the Parks Dept about some of the equipment. But when things get used this hard for this long who doesn't expect that.
Iditapark, located in the heart of Wasilla is always a great place to bring the kids on a sunny day. The park has everything a kid could dream of to climb, slide, and hide in.
Was getting water at the bulk water station, across the street from the park, great sledding hill, or to learn the basics on your new snowboard. Plenty big if its your first time. We all started here in The beginning. An soft grass hill is kind on your body.
