Confirmed from Newell Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve featuring well-maintained trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.

“Enjoy, keep it clean and save the open space for our future generations to appreciate the beauties of Mother Nature has created for centuries.”
“Fun place to hike, bring water, bring flashlight, watch for snakes, great views from ridge.”
“The loop trail gradually ascends the rolling hills and wraps around a nice creak shaded by lovely oaks and buckeye.”
“The gradual ascent makes this a moderate difficulty trail, but for the most part, it's an easy walk, suitable for all hiking levels.”
We are local, my brother and I and we do quite a bit of hiking in this area but we had never been here before. This place is absolutely beautiful! Please be advised the grass is high and last month there were lots of reports of really bad ticks.
It’s a beautiful breath taking landscape with lots of rolling hills with open spaces. It has groups of trees here and there on the ridge, but majorly of the trails on hill sides are bare where the view to the 360 degrees of scenery are wide opened.
This was a great hike! Because of all the rain it was pretty muddy in places, so good shoes/boots are needed. We did the entire loop and it was 5 miles. We saw a lot of cows which was awesome, but cows mean cow pies! So be on the look out! My niece nephew and I had a great time!
Excellent hiking area, lots of terrain and beautiful areas to traverse. We got close to the cows grazing and they were very friendly.
