Great park for a day trip. No gas boating; however, row boats etc. welcome. Fishing and an easy 1.4 mile trail loops the lake. Picnic tables and shelters available. I love the enchanted forest feel of the place. I may have found my get away for a walking destination with the no fuss trail.
Really enjoyed this low key state park. There is a beautiful, well groomed, 1.4 mile stone trail that circumnavigates the lake. There is opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, walking, and running. There is a large parking area as well as restroom facilities.
What a fabulous lake. No motorized boats, just people floating around the lake with their floaters, kayaks, paddle boards or just swimming around. There are so many trails to walk all around the lake. It's a beautiful place. Restrooms and playground for kids. There are many areas with picnic tables and grills.
A friend introduced me to this beautiful park recently. A beautiful serene park tucked away close to home! Went on a week day and there were no boats on the lake. Looked like a great place for kayaking. There was a guy fishing on the pier. He looked so peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
