We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of North Coast Inland Trail Scenic Overlook yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about North Coast Inland Trail Scenic Overlook
“Gorgeous views year round, though, wear boots if it rains, because it gets quite muddy near the sides.”
“Very scenic views, peaceful, and quiet.”
Cycling, walking, jogging, you'll always see many friendly faces. Ranging from all ages. A long peaceful trail. Between 7am to 10am definitely look out for deer. They are always crossing the trail, even right in front of you.
Beautiful place to walk. My dog and I try to go everyday. The scenery is amazing. I group up in the area of the trails. I have so many memories from this area. It was our playground. We camped and fished at the train trussel. Now I walk with my grandson and tell him stories.
