Confirmed from Northshore Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular and scenic destination for hiking, biking and swimming, with picnic facilities.
What runners say about Northshore Trailhead
“Walking in the water was really fun, water was clean, little warm, and was giving cozy feelings”
“This trail has great views of the lake and there is plenty of shade from the trees!”
“Definitely one of my top 2 places to go hiking…(entrance is $10), but it was such a calm place to go to in the morning, especially hearing the waves of the lake.”
Love this trail! This is designed more so for mountain biking, but you can still go for a hike. Be sure to watch out for bikers as they are going fast and you're in they're territory. This is a one way trail so always hike against bike traffic to make sure you see them coming.
Love this trail. I came to hike this trail 2nd time, and the weather was really nice (ideal weather is between 67 to 77). The trail offers a lot of loops and connects three parks Whether you decide to hike or choose to ride a bicycle (e-bike would be a great support), you will not be disappointed, there are greats…
Nice place for exploring. Only ended up doing part of the trail as it's much longer than it seems. Lots of critters, new growth, etc. Very pretty views. I will say the blaring music from the party boat hanging out in the cove was a bit annoying. Otherwise a decent trail
Definitely one of my top 2 places to go hiking…(entrance is $10), but it was such a calm place to go to in the morning, especially hearing the waves of the lake. I love the trail close to the shoreline.
