I came to this park after reading in the local newspaper about the group from the Guilford Community Garden seeking donations to create a new community garden. I wanted to check out the location where the garden will be established. It’s situated at the end of a path between the dog park and the sports field.
Love the dog park here! It is always well maintained and when we go in the late afternoon/early evening, there are several dogs for my pup to run around with. The dog park usually has water, but they ask dog owners to bring their own dishes in order to minimize the risk of passing germs from one dog to the next.
Nice, large park; Great for dogs to run, explore. Most people are nice but some feel they're more important and that can ruin my time there but days when everyone is nice, great dogs, good people; it's a great place to bring your dog(s) to play and run around!
The park is comprised of two fenced in sections for dogs and a playing field primarily used for lacrosse. There is not a playground for children. Trails for hiking are located down the path and at the back of the lacrosse field.
