Oak Hill is a great conservation area with a bunch of hiking trails to choose from. I have been here twice now and have only parked at the trailhead on Oak Hill Rd. I believe there is another parking area on Harvard Rd. The highlights of this area to me are Lookout Rock and Tophet Chasm.
I came and did the yellow trail counterclockwise starting at the trailhead off oak hill rd. The trails were really well marked and easy to follow. The 3.3 mile trail was pretty easy and took me an hour to complete. When I came at 3:30 on a Thursday there were only 2 cars in the parking lot.
Went here at end of December. All the trails were covered in snow and the trees were weighed down with ice. Very scenic and beautiful. The view from Look out rock at the top of the trail was breathtaking! We brought our dog and let her off the leash. She loved it. Very dog and kid friendly.
Trails are marked but not well marked. Mostly uphill and many tree roots and rocks to navigate. Pretty scenery. I need all trails map cuz I got lost in the many sidetrails. Rock is where I was headed and glad I made it worth the hike. Spent almost 2.5 hours on trail I thought would take an hour
