I visit this place a lot and like it here. It's really nice and shady on the trails from all the big trees so it keeps it cooler during the day. They have an interesting statue that I liked here. Also have water fountains which is really nice.
First time on the greenway! Very cool, I ran 8 miles and 90% of where I ran was under tree cover so that was cool. And there were lots of folx out there so it felt like a team effort.
Very shaded, many trees, amazing smells, deer, lovely birdsong, peaceful, and so relaxing. Great place to soak in nature and recharge 🙌🏼 sit, run, bike, meet up, date, dog walk.
Oakwell TrailHead Park is a gem! There's a convenient parking lot available. The fully paved, wide trail easily accommodates both bikers and hikers. Almost the entire trail is shaded by beautiful overhanging oak trees, making for a pleasant experience even on warmer days.
