Confirmed from Lady Bird Johnson TrailHead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

I’ve visited the skate park here but never went on the trail. My friend told me there was this VERY OLD tree that in the past made the news for someone trying to burn it down?! Well I had to go check it out. On my way to see this beauty the trail was majestic.

Beautiful trail . I enjoy my walks there never cease to amaze me when I see such beautiful animals and flowers each time I go . God's beautiful creations.

Nice trailhead for walk, jogging, biking, or hiking. The trail head has two porta potties, a tool kit for bikes, and a water fountain. At the start is the main paved smooth flat path for bikes, walkers, and for jogging. It also has a rough hiking trail to one side that is scenic along cliffs.

I was there December 13th 2025. This park is beautiful and peaceful. I took the longest path to reach the "Mystic Tree," an enormous and magnificent tree in its own way. I'm glad I did because I even saw a deer! It was a magical walk...

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
