We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Off-leash Dog Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Off-leash Dog Park
“Great for dogs, my retriever could run free after the dip in the river.”
What a beautiful, neat place for people and dogs! Nice trail to walk along the river. Fresh cut grass for the pups to run in. Will definitely be back!
We are moving from Ferndale to Bellingham soon, and this dog park is the place I will miss the most! It really isn't a "dog park" so much as a large open space where the humans can stroll and their pups can run and run and run. I've never encountered an aggressive dog (or human) here. Really a wonderful public asset!
Bellingham and ferndale's best kept secret. The best off-leash park in the county. Wonderful people and dogs. Disc golf course, maintained walking trail, river for pups to swim in. I have made many friends here.
My dog loved it! Nothing like anything we experienced.... tall grass n trails... right by the river. A GEM!!!!
Trail conditions & character
“Dog park is big, the trail is long and take you to a pretty big kids playground, a lake with amazing flowers garden, all beside a river.”
