Just a nice little walk along the river, sometimes the fountain is even on. Get a view of Metallica, Ferndale's long standing RR bridge. It's not a super long walk, you can go over the main street bridge and take a right at the boat ramp to get on a trail to Hovander though.
Centennial River Park is a hidden gem in Ferndale. As you enter, you're greeted by a small grassy area adorned with captivating two totem-like poles and delightful fish decorations. The path that runs alongside the Nooksack River is a picturesque journey, offering a serene atmosphere for a leisurely stroll.
Small park/boardwalk area. Does have splash pad for kids in summer. Farmers markets on Friday but way too small ( not like Bellingham farmers market). Located right along nooksak river, which is nice. But, people give a hard time over dogs, even though it's a dog friendly area.
Great little river walk. Just wish it was longer but connects park to downtown
