Confirmed from Ohio River Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic riverfront park trail for walking, hiking and cycling .
What runners say about Ohio River Greenway
“Some of the Greenway is scenic, but alot of it passes by ling-standing industrial areas.”
Unbelievable greenway. It is so well kept with beautiful with great views. Highly recommend this as a destination for any visitors to the city
What a wonderful job they have done with this path! My primary use is by bicycle and it is a gentle, relaxing ride. The hills are non-existent so if you're a newbie or just someone who wants a comfortable trail away from cars, this is ideal.
Amazing new bike path! My favorite outdoor discovery since the parklands of Floyd Ford. Highly recommended
Love the new Ohio River Greenway, here in Southern Indiana, connecting Jeffersonville to New Albany! Especially appreciate the easy access point, in Clarksville, on Eastern Ave. Some of the Greenway is scenic, but alot of it passes by ling-standing industrial areas...which aren't so scenic.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
