Confirmed from Cherokee Park Scenic Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hilly open space with paved paths, dirt trails and a scenic loop for hiking, biking and wildlife sightings.

The Scenic Loop at Cherokee Park in Louisville is a picturesque 2.4-mile trail winding through rolling hills and dense woodlands. Beautiful park. There's a great paved path, and there's a good chance you'll see wildlife such as deer. We saw an entire family there, last week.
Cherokee Park was an Olmsted design. Close to the Highlands neighborhood and business district, it feels as if it's farther out when you're in the middle of it. This is a wonderful place for a stroll, to bicycle ride, play in a field or take a run around the loop.
its a wonderful path to walk on! i just wish some people would acknowledge the ONE WAY ROAD because we have some reckless drivers going up the wrong side while driving to leave. maybe if we had some postage or something idrk tbh
