Confirmed from Old Bridge Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Old Bridge Waterfront Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (2,584 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“They really need to clean up the polluted part of the beach.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“I love coming here to chill and hang out and will definitely come here more often to watch the beautiful sunrises.”

Hallo, we came to this beachside walk all the way from Berlin, Europe. We sought out this experience to see the garbage that reviewers have mentioned. The highlight was seeing the lead warnings & dumped tires. Over all great experience and will recommend to anyone visiting NJ!

Great place for a walk or jog. About .70/mile from the parking lot to a paved path to the boardwalk, about 1.40 miles round trip. Great waterfront views and beautiful wildlife and wildflowers along the way. Heavenly scent of honeysuckle in June. Right off Rt 35. Free parking. Recommended.

Quite impressed with this waterfront park with its several piers jutting into the water, boardwalk and beach trails, playground and other amenities. Free parking is welcome difference from neighboring Jersey shore towns. Couple of hiking trails start from gazebo area.

A beautiful place to have a walk and watch the sunset or the sunrise. Whichever you please It's pretty clean and safe. I've been there during daytime and night time. Parking is available at all time

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
