Confirmed from Old Bridge Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Long waterfront park featuring a boardwalk, a playground and basketball courts.
What runners say about Old Bridge Waterfront Park
“Lawrence Harbor waterfront Park is nice and clean.”
“It is a beautiful place for a walk and an even better place for kids to play.”
“The sand is also super perfect for running, as it is densly packed with stones & seashells.”
Excellent safe place to run year round. Running & walking here for 11 years. Not advisable to enter the ocean, broken shells, broken glass, rocks, stones, pebbles, sticky burrs, driftwood & other brickbrack materials are spread in abundance along the coastline.
We parked at the Old Bridge pavillion. Waterfront is lovely, nice walk along a wooden boardwalk, very few people. No swimming or wading and absolutely no fishing or eating the fish you catch! Interesting fact, you can attain a permit for alcohol?? Watch out for bike riders. ENJOY!
Lawrence Harbor waterfront Park is nice and clean. Boardwalk is well maintained with a great view of NY. There's a renovated playground. Most of the beach is fenced off and all for a good reason - lead, mercury and other poisonous chemical contamination. So please, stay away from the sand and water.
Nice boardwalk for a walk. It’s a 2 mile walk starting from the Old bridge waterfront to Cliffwood Beach. 4 miles out and back. Multiple playgrounds on the way if you are out with kids. Many benches to sit down and relax.
