Confirmed from Oldcastle Nature Trail at Marcus Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded half-mile trail featuring varied overlooks and a meditation area, plus a lawn for dogs.
What runners say about Oldcastle Nature Trail at Marcus Center
“Wonderful any time of year, but particularly beautiful in the spring and fall (although the tree canopy makes it one of the coolest outdoor spaces around in the summer!”

“Love this trail so much - very short and easy, but surprisingly peaceful for its location.”
Definitely a hidden gem. Great for a social distance meetup. Trail is about half a mile end to end and could be considered easy to moderate. No major climbing and a lot of canopy cover. Small children had a blast and did not get tired. At one end is an open plaza / meditation area.
Love this trail so much - very short and easy, but surprisingly peaceful for its location. We’ve been walking it since before Oldcastle worked on it and were/remain astonished by how much work and love the Oldcastle volunteers put into this little trail.
Light, fun trail. Easy on the knees, no public restroom. Large open grass meadow, great for dogs.
Beautiful nature trail in the heart of the city. There are a few different trails you can take, and all are clearly marked.
