Confirmed from Olde Muskingum Trail-Butterbridge Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area known for its kid-friendly hiking and other outdoor activities, such as biking.

“Very long beautiful well maintained Trail in the woods with a canal on one side and a river on the other.”

One of those trails that set you back in time. A quiet. laid back trail that offers much peace and personal time. It runs parallel with the Ohio & Erie Canal Trail. Take the Ohio & Erie Canal Trail one way and return via the Olde Muskingum Trail that ends or starts at Canal Fulton. Don't forget off-trail adventure.
Nice area of the trailhead. Not as popular as other areas of the trail. Plenty of gravel parking and a porta potty. No benches or tables from what I could see. Even though the part of the trail is not real popular it does take a minute to cross Butterbridge road due to steady traffic.
Huge paved parking lot. Easy access to Olde Muskingum trail. The towpath is just across the bridge.
We loved this trail. Quite and no one on when we went. We had the trail basically to ourselves.
