We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Ouita Coal Company Mountain Bike Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ouita Coal Company Mountain Bike Trail
“The trails are mostly along the shoreline to Lake Dardanelle with some great views.”
A great MTB and hiking trail. Trail is approximately 11 miles long. Great views of Lake with special scenic creek crossings. This trail is maintained by River Valley Ozarks Offroad Cyclists, a 100% volunteer local non-profit organization. One downside is the road noise from the interstate.
This is an awesome mountain bike trail park, with over 10 miles of trails. Since you have to double back some to ride all of the trails, you can easily go more than 10 miles if you want. The trails are mostly beginner to intermediate, with the biggest obstacles being tree roots and some large rocks in a few places.
