Confirmed from Overton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Overton Park
“It has a small fountin that barely works but still spies out fresh water and a clean bathroom regularly maintained!”
“It is just a beautiful, neighborhood park that is completely fenced in and it is fairly short distance wise for getting your steps for the day.”
“Good neighborhood park, lots of shaded space and different activities for kids and adults.”
“Great play yard for kids and dogs on leads are welcome.”
I have lived here for all of my childhood my childhood home being down the street if they ever decide to demolish and or sell the place i will buy it. They have a mini communal library where you can put in books for others to read!
Super little park that is totally fenced. Great play yard for kids and dogs on leads are welcome. Took my young grandson and his mom here and it was a beautiful day. They have tables both covered and out in open. It's very clean and it has restroom facilities. There is a small walking track.
Took a short break after traveling from the Ozarks to let the kids play before a wedding. Nice park. Completely fenced so no concern about letting all the kids run around. Glad for a no dog policy.
A great place to have a picnic, throw a baseball, host a birthday party, or just walk around. It's nicely tucked behind Cahaba Heights. Parking could be better, but the park is well kept.
