Confirmed from P.O. Faulkner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual park with tennis courts and a baseball field (home to Bulldog Baseball), plus a playground for kids.
What runners say about P.O. Faulkner Park
“Fully surfaced path, or easy walking in the well maintained lawns.”
Love walking my dog here. Hope they put lights at the newly renovated tennis courts. It would be lovely to have a real restroom also.
This is such a beautiful park. My husband and I took a lovely walk today. The park is clean and well managed. 👌
It's winter, so rarely ever any people. Great place to walk your dog. Fully surfaced path, or easy walking in the well maintained lawns. Four tennis courts in excellent condition. Covered gazebo with picnic tables and even a grill.
Nice walking party during the day. Big playground and clean. Not lit up at night. Plenty of parking.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
