Confirmed from War Memorial Park Martinsburg's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring pools, swings, playgrounds and a monument.
What runners say about War Memorial Park Martinsburg
“It's not the biggest park but it's very clean, has multiple shelters with grills and multiple playgrounds for kids of all age groups.”
“A beautiful place to have professional pictures done.”
“Everything was very family friendly and the mini golf was very affordable.”
Beautiful park !! Plenty of playgrounds and a swimming pool as well. Great place to take your pets for a walk and let the kids play in the playgrounds. While it was busy today there is plenty of space and it wasn't crowded. Not very far from I-81 with easy access on and off the highway.
Wonderful family friendly park and War Memorial. City keeps it clean and well maintained. There are bathrooms at upper and lower levels of the park. Covered pavilions at multiple locations as are playground features.
Great park to stretch your legs on a car trip, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. Park was clean and had many places to sit and have lunch. I wish they had paths to follow as opposed to walking around on the grass. They had bathrooms, but no hot water (which was not pleasant on a cold day). Would visit again!
So many different playgrounds, picnic areas, ball courts, and a pool! Not really a park in would go to walk- but it's good for families.
